QESOSA Ontario 35th Anniversary Dinner on October 5, 2024
This year (2024) marks the 35th Anniversary of our QESOSA Ontario. To celebrate the milestone, a dinner gathering was held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Richmond Court Chinese Restaurant, Richmond Hill. The theme of the evening is: 伊中精神之 加港同關愛，你我共傳承
How good it was to see alumni from different FAs, as senior as the 61's, come out expectantly to mark the Ontario OSA's 35th anniversary in the evening of October 5th, 2024!
Our last milestone anniversary celebration also happened in the month of October. It was 2019, a year before the breakout of the pandemic. The world seemed to have changed a lot in the past five years, but our QES spirit stays strong and vibrant.
A working team with alumni spanning 40 FAs (1961 to 2001) was naturally formed three months before the event. Everyone selflessly offered the best, hoping to create another unforgettable experience for our beloved participants.
On the day, in just 90 minutes, the team aptly turned the restaurant space into a private function room adorned with colorful banners and wired with visual and audio devices for conducting the program of the night. Three enthusiastic younger FA alumni (93 & 01) helped at the reception, greeting and serving hospitably. The theme of this celebration could not be more evidently exuded than this!
The room was filled up gradually from 6 pm, the QES spirit of community permeated the air as alumni greeted each other with joy, cherishing every opportunity to meet and catch up.
The night's program was specially curated to connect this oversea OSA community with our mother school and base OSA in HK. What does QES look like today? What amenities are found in the new wing? Through collaboration with her QES contact in HK, our 01FA volunteer was able to contribute a short video on QES today - the where and what. This video was used in a game that night to inform us of QES’s latest look.
Another highlight of the night was the introduction of the forthcoming revamped Ontario OSA website, which is more user-friendly and cellphone-responsive. Our knowledgeable and dedicated Webmaster gave us a navigation demo steering us through the different functions and sections of the website. Stay tuned for a better experience!
As the group photo concluded the night with good company and good food, with the launch of the updated website, that night's good memory will be well preserved available for reminiscing anywhere anytime. Most importantly, with your support, we might be able to create the memory every year going forward.

加港同關愛 你我共傳承
2024 年為香港伊利沙伯中學舊生會安省分會成立35 年的一年, 舊生會定在十月五日晚上, 舉辦慶祝晚宴, 與移居安省的新舊同學們齊齊暢聚一堂！
今年也是母校的70 年校慶, 所以有部份同學都回港去了, 未能參加, 亦有其他同學因個人原因不方便出席；唯我們這一年的35週年晚宴出席人數共有70人, 僅次於伊中舊生在35年前, 未曾創會之時, 在安省樂園（Ontario Place）歡迎韓敦校長訪加而舉辦的晚宴出席的99人！
出席同學中, 有在本世紀才自伊中畢業的, 或剛到加只有一年半截的, 亦有在上世紀六零年的畢業生, 現已是退休人仕, 在享受優閒的生活； 而這次慶祝的主題是緊守着伊中校訓, 祈望能承前啟後, 聯繫港加兩地不同屆的校友, 所以 晚會特意安排每一桌除了同一年份的同窗舊友, 座上還加有八十後的青年同學, 讓同坐一桌的能乘此機會, 互相交流訊息, 由母校年來各種演變, 到移民心得, 言談甚歡！
晚會豐富的節目, 由高唱校歌揭幕, 雄渾的歌聲, 引發眾人無盡的青少年時回想！接下來是齊齊觀看舊生會35 年來的成長過程照片； 接着是一輯最新的母校近貌, 亦是有獎遊戲, 看得十分關注的同學都是答中有獎的幸運兒；另一高潮是大抽獎,這晚除了每桌有四位同學得桌上獎之外, 還有晚會的八份大獎送給當晚八位幸運兒！
伊中安省舊生會35週年慶祝會就在佳餚、笑聲、掌聲很快就渡過了！大家都祈望下一年的歡聚！
