| Great News!!! 雙喜臨門!!! Mr. Hinton is the founding principal of Queen Elizabeth School, which was rated as the best secondary school in Hong Kong at the time. He also served as Principal of one of our Institute's predecessor colleges, the Northcote College of Education, and as Senior Lecturer in the CUHK School of Education. For many years, he was a social activist, working for improvements to our education system. His autobiography, "Only a Teacher", is jointly published by HKIEd and York University in Canada. It is a volume in the Hong Kong Life Stories Series. The regular price of the 458-page book is HK$138; at the book launch, the special price will be HK$120. Please honour a great educator and an important chapter in Hong Kong's education history by coming to the Library foyer on Thursday afternoon to attend the launch of this very rich and charming book.
