AGM and Dinner on Oct 31, 2015
Ms. Allyson Chiu, Certified Instructor of the USA National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, gave a talk on
"Ways to Prevent Cognitive Deterioration ( 如何預防認知力退化 )". This was followed by the 2015 AGM and dinner.

Spring Lunch and Talk on May 9, 2015
Ms. Sherlyn Hu, Mental Health Clinician, from Mount Sinai Hospital Wellness Centre
Allyson Chiu, Certified Instructor of the USA National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, gave a talk on
"Dementia and Its Care ( 淺談腦退化症 )". This workshop is an introduction to the types, symptoms, diagnosis and
treatment for dementia, and what family caregivers can do to support people with dementia. The talk was followed by
lunch.

AGM and Dinner on Oct 25, 2014
The theme of the evening was "Sixty Years at QES ( 伊中時光六十年 ) which was to celebrate the 60th Anniversary
of QES, as well as the 25th Anniversary of QESOSA (Ontario).
James Chan, Mi Ki Kan, and Nancy Tang talked about their stories in school life in the old days in QES, which were
mostly unheard of before. They also presented some treasured photos of those days such as drama scenes, school
camp activities, choir singing, etc. Afterwards, everyone joined the sing-along of old time favorite songs. The group
was so much enthused by those memories of their young and energetic days.
