The Second "A Walk In The Park" Event – July 14, 2018

Following the first "A Walk in the Park" event on June 2, our second Walk attracted more members. On
July 14, 25 members and spouses gathered and strolled through the area near Toogood Pond in
Markham. It was a cloudy morning, which was excellent weather for outdoor activity. After the walk, we
enjoyed a dim sum lunch nearby (more people came to join the lunch), and then Mi Ki Kan and his wife
treated us with delicious desserts, and coffee and tea, at their spacious home.

The third walk in our ‘A Walk in the Park’ series
-- at Lake Wilcox Park, Richmond Hill, on September 1, 2018

The third walk in our "A Walk in the Park" series took place at Lake Wilcox Park, Richmond Hill, on September 1,
2018. The weather was again very nice, cloudy and no rain. Most of us needed to put a thin jacket on at the start
of the walk, although some strong ones wore short-sleeved shirts. We completed a round-the-lake tour in just
under two hours, with a brief stop at the Fish and Wildlife Refuge.
