早年的  QES  學生,大多家境清貧,也有部份來自富有家庭,但是這些「富二代亅  並不飛揚跋扈炫耀財富。在
當年純樸的校風下,彼此相處融洽,保持著「貧富一家親亅  的友誼,倒也難能可貴  !

創校初期,香港尚未有徙置區、廉租屋等事物;衹有山邊大片密密麻麻的木屋區,和舊式唐樓的出租板間房;很
多同學都是居住板間房,又或者是「木屋居士亅.....

Europe Trip and Cruise (2009)                      by Mi Ki Kan

The cruise along River Danube from Budapest to Prague was one of the highlights in life for Susan and me, especially
because we were accompanied by Nancy and James Tang. We cruised through Hungary, Austria, Germany and the
Czech Republic and visited Budapest, Vienna, Melk, Passau, Regensburg, Nuremberg, Deggendorf and Prague.

由於漢杰因公要到卡加利,我倆決定順道西遊,到美國加州探望我的妹妹。在九月下旬我們便展開了這個“熱之旅”。

滿眼秋意的卡城,晚間的氣溫已降至零度甚至負度了。早上市中心的街道冷冷清清,寒風撲面,行人都早已利用那全天候、連貫著市中心各大廈的“+15”通道來往。

In Loving Memory of Miss Ruth Wong

Miss Ruth Wong (Mrs. Ko), our beloved Biology teacher (1959 - 1969) and Senior Mistress (1968-1969) of QES,
went to her eternal heavenly home on October 16, 2017, after combatting with pancreatic cancer over the past 7
months.

Former teachers and students of QES have written articles and poems about the good things that she had brought to

61FA Alumnus Published His Debut Fiction on Child Psychiatry

A QES alumnus of year 1961 who is a renowned child psychiatrist in the UK has recently published is debut fiction
entitled “The Cockroach Catcher”. The book is an anecdotal collection of child and adolescent psychiatric cases that
our alumnus had treated during his 30 year career.

Excursion on the Silk Road - James and Nancy Tang (2007)

In recent years we have made several trips to China. Last fall, we went for a 12-day excursion on the “silk
road”. The trip only covers a small portion of this famous journey made by the merchants, missionaries, and
